Satellite Band | Best Buddies Houston Masquerade Gala | Ballroom at Bayou Place
It was a magical evening as Houston party band, Satellite, entertained elite guests and local celebrities at the Best Buddies Masquerade Gala & Fashion Show at The Ballroom at Bayou Place in Houston, Texas. This fabulous nonprofit fundraiser was held on November 17, 2017. Best Buddies is the world’s largest non-profit organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
This sophisticated gala and fashion show raised funds to further the mission of Best Buddies, an AMAZING nonprofit organization, dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that created opportunities, one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Satellite was extremely honored to perform at this fundraising, charity gala in Houston, Texas. They performed the best Top 40 dance hits to have the guests dancing and having a great, memorable time at this special and very important event.
Satellite made so many new AMAZING buddies at this incredible fundraiser!

Since launching in 1993, Best Buddies Texas’ programs have grown close to 70 statewide chapters with 4,479 participants. They currently impact over 44,479 parents, teachers, friends, and community members in Texas. Best Buddies is building a more inclusive world, one friendship at a time, by erasing the invisible line that too often isolates those with disabilities within the schools, workplaces, and lives.
