Planning the Perfect Wedding Reception

From the earliest planning stages, our own Cord Stone worked closely with Brooke and Ryan to design a seamless, high-energy wedding reception experience. With multiple event spaces inside the estate-style venue, there were important technical logistics to coordinate to ensure flawless sound production throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.

Stargazer Productions arranged for a second professional PA system and dedicated sound engineer to cover the ceremony and cocktail hour, ensuring crystal-clear audio in every location. Our team handled all production details so the couple could focus on enjoying their day.

A Romantic Ceremony at The Springs

The Springs at Valley View provided a breathtaking backdrop for the ceremony. The renovated mansion-style wedding venue exudes elegance and romance, making it one of the most sought-after North Texas wedding venues. Our Stargazer sound engineer compiled and precisely cued each ceremony selection, managing the audio timing so every musical moment aligned perfectly — from the processional to the recessional. It was a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony that set the tone for the celebration to follow.

Cocktail Hour & Dinner

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour while our team transitioned the production setup for the reception. Brooke and Ryan had carefully selected special songs for both live performance and break music. Stargazer Productions curated and arranged all requested tracks so the couple didn’t have to worry about a single detail.

As dinner began, The After Party - Dallas Wedding Band at The Springs Valley View- performed a sophisticated dinner set featuring timeless classics like Unforgettable by Nat King Cole and Your Song by Elton John. The music was delivered at the perfect volume — elegant, warm, and inviting — creating an atmosphere where guests could dine comfortably while still enjoying live entertainment.

A High-Energy Dallas Wedding Reception

After dinner, the celebration shifted into high gear. The After Party officially introduced Brooke and Ryan into the reception space, energizing the room as their dynamic horn section joined the band on stage. As a full-service wedding band, The After Party also served as emcee for the evening, guiding guests through special moments including toasts, formal dances, and the garter toss.

Once the dance floor opened, it stayed packed. From classic sing-alongs to modern hits, The After Party delivered a high-energy performance that kept guests dancing all night. To close out the celebration, the band performed the couple’s requested finale, Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond, as friends and family sang along in celebration.

For their private last dance, Brooke and Ryan shared an intimate moment to Can't Help Falling in Love by Elvis Presley, beautifully serenaded live by The After Party — a perfect ending to an unforgettable wedding reception.

As the evening concluded, Brooke and Ryan exited the reception hall beneath a tunnel of glowing sparklers held by their guests — a magical send-off that perfectly captured the joy and romance of the night.
