A Disco Celebration at Arcadia Live
Hosted by Arcadia Live, this Disco NYE celebration was designed to transport guests straight to the golden age of Studio 54 glamour—complete with dazzling lights, themed décor, and a packed dance floor ready to groove all night long. Located in the heart of downtown St. Augustine, Arcadia Live is a beautifully restored historic theater known for its state-of-the-art sound, elevated stage, and intimate concert atmosphere. It’s the perfect venue for live entertainment, corporate events, private parties, and New Year’s Eve celebrations that demand an unforgettable live band experience.
Guests arrived dressed to impress in disco glam, bell bottoms, sequins, and platform shoes, ready for a night of nonstop dancing and celebration. The Boogies themselves dress in authentic 1970's leisure suits!
Event Timeline: From Cocktails to Countdown
The evening kicked off with a lively cocktail hour in the lobby, where guests mingled and enjoyed signature drinks while the anticipation built. As doors opened to the main theater, attendees found their tables and prepared for a night of live music and dancing.
Once the party officially began, The Boogies took the stage and immediately set the tone with funky bass lines and disco classics that filled the room. Dinner and drinks flowed as the dance floor began to heat up early in the evening.
As the night progressed, the band seamlessly transitioned from iconic disco hits to high-energy dance favorites, keeping the crowd engaged and on their feet. The energy in Kerrville's Arcadia Live was high all night long. There were time capsules, photobooths, interactive games, champagne pong, and The Boogies Texas show band making the night truly special and unique. The Kerr County Lead newspaper was onsite, photographing the event to report the festivities in the paper.

The Boogies brought along their sax player to really bring out that disco vibe. The band was on fire, and the energy flowed right to the guests. The dancefloor was packed with dancers showcasing their 70's moves.
The Boogies spiced it up in the last set of the night by playing some funky-style, newer favorites that the crowd went wild over. Look out you Jive Turkeys for The Boogies!
