Satellite Band | The 32nd Annual Tyler Cattle Barons' Gala
Satellite performed the 32nd Annual Cattle Barons' Gala on June 29, 2019, benefiting the American Cancer Society. Since the fundraising gala first started in 1988, over $15 million dollars has been raised locally to support both local and national cancer support services including cancer research.
The 32nd annual event, held at the Texas Rose Horse Park in Tyler, was chaired by Jayme Fitzpatrick, Kelli Armstrong and Maggie Wright, also known as the "Fitzpatrick Sisters, and was photographed by Tyler Today Magazine. The theme for this year's gala was Triple Crown On Track for a Cure.
Tyler Texas' favorite cover band, Satellite, and country music star, Mark Chesnutt, performed the gala. Satellite got the dance floor slam packed playing the best Top-40 dance songs with some country and classics thrown in, while Mark Chesnutt performed his famous country tunes. Everyone had a great time for a great cause, raising lots of money for charity.
This year's gala included a silent auction, games, raffles, and dancing to great music, raising $540,596.82 for the American Cancer Society.
Thank you American Cancer Society for having Satellite be a part of such a wonderful event and memorable party.
