Satellite | Christina & Jarrett's Wedding | Canyonwood Ranch

Christina's and Jarrett chose Stargazer Productions to provide an experienced, memorable wedding band for their reception at Canyonwood Ridge in Dripping Springs, Texas. Christina's family has worked with Cord Stone of Stargazer Productions for multiple private events, hiring Stargazer party bands for their business' corporate holiday parties. Christina and Jarrett chose the Dripping Springs wedding band, Satellite, to entertain the guests at their enchanting wedding reception on February 22, 2020.

The couple additionally chose to add a Stargazer ceremony guitarist to perform during their wedding ceremony. The wedding party processional began the ceremony, entering to an acoustic guitar rendition of "Ho Hey" by the Lumineers. Christina, the lovely bride, walked down the isle to, "First Day of My life" by Bright Eyes. The ceremony was touching and beautiful, with a simple elegance created by the soothing strums of the guitarist.

Stargazer coordinated with the couple and the event planner in the months and days before the reception, reviewing the timeline in detail for optimal flow the night of the event. Stargazer also made sure that the couple's special dance songs were shortened according to their wishes and queued at the correct part of the songs, for a flawless run the night of the event.

Reception hall at Canyonwood Ridge in Dripping Springs

Located in the beautiful Texas hill country, Canyonwood Ridge provided a scenic, romantic backdrop for the event sitting on a ridge wrapped in oak trees. The location has both an indoor chapel and outdoor ceremony site, and a large reception hall is adjacent to the chapel. The beautifully constructed room offers the perfect party location amidst the picturesque hill country views.

Stargazer worked closely with Canyonwood Ridge's event coordinator to ensure the sound and technical details were sorted out prior to the event, and to go over dinner and reception details. The couple requested that Satellite play a dinner set as their guests ate. Satellite performed a relaxed variety of dinner music, providing the perfect ambience for a conversing and dining atmosphere.

Dripping Springs Wedding Band, Satellite band

The reception was a party to remember, with guests of all ages dancing to a variety of pop music. Satellite band has a large playlist, capable of playing popular songs from many decades and genres. The reception kicked off with the couple's first dance to "My Lover" by Birdtalker. Christina and her father danced together to " Humble and Kind" by Tim McGraw. The couple also made a special song request for the band to perform "The Most Beautiful Girl" by Flight of the Concords. Christina and Jarrett are a unique, awesome pair, choosing perfect songs that infused the wedding ceremony and reception with their own personal character.

Satellite made all the announcements at the reception. They introduced the bride and groom and their wedding party, special dances, dinner, cake cutting, bouquet and garter toss, and more. They kept the party lively, engaging the audience from on the stage and performing irresistible danceable hits. There were no wallflowers at this wedding!

Satellite has a danceable playlist of music that they stream during band breaks, yet the couple specially requested to create their own break music playlist, which they supplied to the band prior to the event. Stargazer was happy to accommodate to ensure that all their special song requests were performed either by the band or during the break music played between live band sets.

Thank you Christina and Jarrett for having Satellite perform at your wedding reception and allowing Stargazer Productions to be a part of your special day. We wish you a lifetime of happiness together.
